Guerilla Garden Project
Garden in University of North Texas parking lot in Denton, Texas. First planted in 2016, the installation consists of a Vitex, Purple Iris saved from a construction site, Texas Sage, Texas Moutain Laurel, and Yucca.
Native garden surrounded by logs found on site at a local park in Rockwall, Texas. This installation was planted in 2021 to help with erosion and increase biodiversity.
Installation of flowers and mulch in barren flower planter of Calhoun Middle School, planted in 2019.
Installation of a peach tree and flowers in an empty flower bed of a large apartment complex in Rockwall, Texas. This installation, along with my work at the apartment’s community garden for four years addresses the lack of access to fresh produce and opportunities to grow food in urban environments for renters.
