Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center Ode was created in August of 2025. The work was woven with invasive Chinese privet and native Dogwood branches, creating bands of color across the form. The interior was filled with leaves, grass clippings, and coffee grounds, which will compost and create a home for insects and other wildlife.

Thanks to my fabricator, Tommy Rosson, for helping in the heat, and to the Audubon Center and June Covington for inviting me to create this work
